Emily Gladstone

Jeweller | Maker

Emily Gladstone studied at Falmouth College of Arts initially working in ceramics and textiles her focus in recent years has been mixed metals for adornment.

Now working from her workshop at home in Branscombe, she is inspired by the organic forms and textures of the Devon coast and countryside.

Emily uses simple and vintage tools to enjoy a connection with the materials and also makers of the past, embracing the marks of creation and echoes of the process. Work is created from recycled silver, gold or brass and frequently features found objects such as stone, fossils or flora. Beachcombing and foraging are sources of constant inspiration.
